Allow me to introduce myself to you...

I am the co-author of Living Namaste: Photography and Spoken Word Poetry.  The words of greeting in almost every culture contain wishes for health, happiness and abundance.  When we breathe in the words and allow them to be our guide for the meeting, incredible experiences and friendships can be formed.

It has been such an incredible honor to travel the world and be invited into so many homes and hearts with my camera.  I seek to capture the light and beauty in each situation and hopefully my images and stories serve as a bridge between people and cultures.  I have been fortunate enough to be the first Western woman seen by the elders of a tribe in Myanmar.  I have traveled 7 hours into the mountains of Nicaragua to photograph the healing of a young boy treated by doctors from Operation Smile.  Countless coffees have been enjoyed with my European guides as we traveled the cobblestone streets with ancient wonders.  I thoroughly enjoyed sitting at the table with the Peruvian women who were creating colorful arpilleras and the Amish selling handmade quilts.  The vast and beautiful landscape of the Arctic is truly indescribable.  I am so very grateful to have photographed on every continent except for Antarctica (and hope to achieve that goal soon!).  My life with a camera is extraordinary and I am humbled by the graciousness and the grace I have received.
